We have had a black Scottie named Chloe for about 7 years. Chloe was 2 years old when we got her. She was a rescue and was quite a different dog. She was never socialized with people and I suspect that maybe she was abused. However, she was the joy of our lives and she eventually came around with us and somewhat with others. We had to have her put down on Aug 31, 2009 and we miss her very much. We are friends with Karen Huelsman and she told us about you. We would like to get another black Scottie perhaps in the spring so we will continue to look at your web site for a puppy. We love the web site and all of the pictures. We will be in touch and you can write to us if you like.
Matt and I are enjoying the newest addtion to our family, Duke. He is doing wonderful and enjoying the daily walks. Both of his ears are up now and he is no longer shy socializing is going well too. So many of the residents on our property have spent time with him as well as other dogs. He loves to play! I can't thank you enough for everything. Cassandra and Matt
loved your site. We love scotties at our house. Scottie Pippen lived to be 17, she was a fiesty little brindle who only liked me! Sweet Josiah's little Angus aka Gus Gus was 13 1/2 when we lost him this past spring. He was cole black wih a kind sole and brought joy to our hearts every day.
Labor Day I received my new Johnston Scottie and named him Bartley. He is adorable and doing very well. Slept through the night after a long day's journey from Kentucky to Chattanooga, TN. He's eating well and being a puppy - cute and adorable. Thanks!
My wife and I were owned (true Scottie owners will admit this) by Precious, who was with us from 1988-2000. Her registered name was 'My Precious Lady'. She was anything but!!!! BUT, she was the love of our life and we were thankful for the time we were blessed to have with her. When she was around two, I came across an eight week old puppy sitting on a railroad rail, with a train coming at it. I was able to get it off the track in time and when I brought it home, the first thing it tried to do was nurse off Precious!!!! Though the relationship between them got off to a rocky start, they became best buddies, even though Buster (the dog I rescued) grew to be around 90 pounds. Precious' dominant personality came through in him, we always said he thought he was a Scottie also. They would sit side by side and sing as my wife played the piano. We lost Buster in 2001, we think he absolutely grieved himself to death after Precious died. I love your site. I saw an ad in our small town paper with your .com address.
puppies are pretty and handsome! great pictures interested in a scottie about made my mind up! I think they are very beautiful dogs. thanks for showing pictures.
Isn't Cayman Clyde's brother? Seems I remember you kept Clyde's brother and I was thinking you named him Cayman. If I am correct, he is now the father of more wonderful Johnston Scotties.
New puppies are adorable. Our Johnston Scottie, Clyde, is such a delight. He is very tuned into us as well as our other Scottie, Bonnie. He is loving, beautiful and most of all healthy. We gave your card to a lady in Highlands, NC who fell in love with Clyde and wanted to know where we got him. I hope she contacted you and purchased her Scottie from your kennel. Her family has always had Scotties.
